Alhaji Mohammed Kwaku Doku speaking on Dinpa anopa bosuo show Wednesday February 19 when reacting to the President’s response to Mr. Mahama that: There will be no strife, conflict after 7th December.”
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, stated emphatically Tuesday February 18 that the peace and stability of the nation which is being enjoyed by the Ghanaian people will be maintained in the aftermath of the 7th December general elections.
President Akufo-Addo was responding to assertions made by the former President Mahama to the effect that there will be strife, conflict and chaos in the aftermath of the December 7 elections.
Speaking at the 20th-anniversary celebration of the founding of the Tertiary Students Confederation (TESCON) at the Ho Technical University in the Volta Region, the President said “I think that it is important for the credibility of our national public discourse that public persons are seen to be consistent in their views and advocacy.”
But commenting on the matter on the show hosted by Akua Nyarko Abronoma, the former NALAG President said, “if the former President sound this peaceful word of caution to the Electoral commission, how then should President Akuffo Addo conclude Mahama is beating war drum”, he quizzed.
He charged the President to act beyond personal sentiment and sees himself as the first gentleman of the land.
