Former President and Flag bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), John Dramani Mahama will tour the Bono East region from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th September, 2020.
The NDC Flag bearer is expected to visit the Sene East, Sene West, Atebubu Amantin and Nkoranza North contituencies.
Mr. Mahama will also tour Yeji, Prang, Abaase and the Kintampo North and South constituencies. The three day campaign tour will also take the former President to the Techiman North and South constituencies.
Former DCE and Bono East regional Communication Officer of the NDC, Kwasi Agyemang Agyentutu speaking to Adepa FM’s reporter, Asonaba Owawani on Dinpa Anopa Bosuo show Wednesday September 16, said, ”The party’s manifesto was drafted based on consultation from the Ghanaian people hence the decision to name it the PEOPLE’S MANIFESTO.”
He appealed to the chiefs and people of the Bono East region to come out in their numbers and listen to how the former President intend to implement the policies in the manifesto.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) held a town hall meeting in Kumasi yesterday to break down and explain its “transformational” policies contained in the party’s 2020 manifesto, dubbed: ‘The People’s Manifesto’, to the electorate.
The NDC has assured the general public that it intend to take ‘The People’s Manifesto’ to the doorsteps of every Ghanaian, as they would embark on the rescue mission to create jobs and prosperity for all, and restore Ghana to the path of development and true progress.
