4 local players named in Black Stars list against Sudan


Four local players have been named in a provisional list of 23 players for the 2021 African Cup of Nations double header qualifier against Sudan by Coach C.K Akunnor.

The players are Hearts of Oak Richard Atta, Habib Mohammed (Kotoko), Kwadwo Amoako (Ashgold) and Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana).

Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom is back in the squad after missing previous squads.

Skipper Andre Ayew leads a group of 16 other players to have maintained their spots from the opening qualifying wins over South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe.

The Black Stars of Ghana will host Sudan in the first leg tie at the Cape Coast Stadium on 27 March, 2020

Ghana will travel to Khartoum for the return leg encounter on March 30, 2020.
