Workers from three textiles firms; Printex Ghana Limited, Akosombo Textiles Limited and Tex Styles GTP have said that they will demonstrate on the streets on March 9 to bring to light some concerns in the sector.

The General Secretary the Textiles Garments and Leather Employees Union, Abraham Koomson said they are demonstrating to mainly demand that the mandate of the anti-textile piracy task force is renewed immediately.

He denied allegations that the union has planned this demonstration to discredit the new government.
